Eyelash Extensions @ EyeDesign by Devonshire Selected Beauty Salons

Hello!

I know it has been ages since I last blogged. My last post was like 2 years ago?! Anyway, this is not the main topic for today.

As you can see from my blog title, I am going to share on my eyelash extensions experience!
This is only the second time I did my eyelash extensions.

I did my first eyelash extensions somewhere else. The first time was a really bad experience for me.
The glue was stinging my eyes which causes my eyes to be swollen and watery. I even asked the lady if it is normal to feel stingy and she went like "yes, of course".

Days later, I still felt so uncomfortable that I decided to pluck out all the extensions! I was not even exaggerating. It was really that bad. My eyelids felt heavy and it obstructed my view.

Anyway, back to the topic.

Last week, I was invited to EyeDesign by Devonshire Selected Beauty Salons for eyelash extensions. I decided to go ahead with it as I have heard a lot of good reviews about them. Their lashes are made and imported from Japan!

Look at how pretty and cosy this place is! Doesn't it makes you feel calm and peaceful? Psst, It was so comfortable that I fell asleep throughout the whole session!

They offer a whole range of designs that you can choose from to suit your eye shape.

The eyelashes are so soft and natural!

Was the whole session uncomfortable? NO! You are not supposed to feel any discomfort at all.

May was my eye stylist for the day and she has done a great job! Thank you for the great experience! They have in total of 3 Japanese & 1 local eye stylists. So...what are you waiting for?

BANGKOK TRIP' 13 DAY 4/5/6

DAY 4

We spent our day 4 at terminal 21. Terminal 21 is a newly opened mall at Asok bts station.
The whole mall looked just like an airport. Every level display different country in the world.
It's a rather good experience but there wasn't much to shop.

We gave Hachiban Ramen store a try since it's everywhere in bangkok and it's cheap too.
Each bowl of ramen cost about 80baht. Cheap right? Well, please do not expect much. The price
tells everything. Well, I would say it's edible but it's not recommended.

After having our main course, we headed to swensens for dessert. Again, it's really cheap in bangkok so we ordered two ice creams and a smoothie.

We headed back to shop at platinum fashion mall after that.

My day 4 has been pretty much summarized in this blog post. Yeah I know it's quite a boring day 4 because we spent too many days in bangkok, we do not know where else to spend our time at so we space out our trips.

Before I forget, siam night market is a must go! They sell really nice clothes there but the prices are a little bit more expensive than those in platinum fashion mall.

BANGKOK TRIP' 13 DAY 3

DAY 3

I'm back! Let's continue with Day 3 of my bkk trip! Saturday in bkk = Chatuchak day! Yes, we headed to chatuchak on saturday. I met up with a couple of my friends and we walked from platinum mall to the nearest bts station to catch the bts to mo chit bts station.

Don't worry about not being able to find chatuchak weekend market. When you exit, you will see chatuchak already!

Before you can even take the bts, you need to insert coins into the ticketing system to redeem the bts card. Don't worry if you do not have coins. You can always buy your bts card at the service counter.

The market is huge man! It would be good if you get a map from the tourist centre to locate the place that you would like to go!

In case you wonder how it looks like,

Here we are at chatuchak weekend market also known as jj market!

I was searching for the coconut ice cream for damn long! FINALLY I FOUND YOU. It was damn good! The thai iced tea ice cream was even better! We bought one each to try! After trying the thai iced tea ice cream, we decided to get another one because it was too fantastic!

Anyway, You can choose your own toppings on the ice cream :)

I bought most of my stuff at chatuchak because most of the clothings there were cheaper than those in the malls (Example : Platinum fashion mall).

Chatuchak stuff are cheap & unique. Their highwaist pants were only SGD 6!

After chatuchak, we headed back to MBK for movie & food!
**MUST TRY : MBK FOOD CENTRE PHAD THAI !!!! (It's the best I've tried so far!)

As for the oyster omelette & kuay chap, I think it's not to my liking. Maybe because I'm too used to SG ones.

After food, MOVIE TIME!

Instead of waiting for the theatre number to blink, in bkk you have to sit outside the theatre to wait for the door to open!

After movie, SUPPER TIME!

We had supper everyday. Yes, both of us gained like 3 kg after we were back. Muahaha. You are supposed to enjoy yourself during overseas trip. Eat first, diet later. Hehe.

** You can find coco curry house at MBK Shopping Mall!

Not forgetting, my day 3 loots!

Stay tuned for Day 4 of my bkk trip! Bye!

BANGKOK TRIP' 13 DAY 2

Heyyy! I'm finally back! I'm so sorry for the delay. I know I'm a bad blogger.

DAY 2
We headed to MBK on friday. We walked to MBK from our hotel. Insane right? We just wanna take a walk after a heavy hotel breakfast.

Note : MBK opens at 10am so don't be there too early if not you got to wait outside the mall.

Headed to starbucks for a drink before shopping. Starbucks always make me feel a step closer to home because there are starbucks in Singapore.

Price of a cup of drink in Starbucks bkk? About the same as Singapore.
So...what's the big hoo-ha about MBK?
Well, MBK is just a tourist attraction mall whereby everyone would visit it when they are in bkk. That's why there are so many shops selling souvenirs, I love bangkok shirts, pirated dvds & etc. There are a few massage parlours & manicure shops around too.

Anyway, their massage services are not cheap. It's about 600baht (SGD20++) for head & shoulder massage. If you are willing to spend, I recommend you guys to go for massage after a long shopping day. You will definitely enjoy it!

So...which massage parlour did I go?
I went for this massage parlour at level 6 of mbk if i'm not wrong? I couldn't remember. I just know they are dressed in maroon colour outfit.

I didn't really have a great experience there because my masseuse didn't even use strength while massaging so it's pretty bad. I had to ask her to use more strength so yeah. My bf was enjoying and he fell asleep. It really depends on who you get.

I love to go to their tokyu department store & this shop at level 1 that sells slippers at 99baht (About SGD4)

Lunch.
Lunch at a mookata store in MBK. I'm sorry I couldn't recall the name but it's near the escalator. Well, don't bother searching for it because their food isn't delicious at all. We felt like we wasted our money.

After lunch, it's manicure & pedicure time! It's a must do when you come to bkk. It's dirt cheap. In Singapore, you are paying $8-$12 for an express manicure but you are paying about that price in bkk for a pretty designed nails.

I went to the same shop to do manicure & pedicure again! It's on level 5 or 6 I couldn't really remember. Hais, the outcome of delaying my post. I couldn't recall everything. Anyway, it's a manicure cum hair salon shop. The manicurists are guys but they are really skillful! That's why I always go back to that shop.

That's the end of Day 2! Stay tuned for Day 3!
